I liked the song

The animation was just a bit sloppy. You could see the joints in the woman's legs and stuff, and you'd probably be better off drawing your backdrops. Photoshopping pictures is a bit of a cop out.
It was fluid though. Try doing a bit more stuff using the paint tool rather than the line. I find it's a nicer look overall.

Claus responds:

Thank you for your advise. I agree i would have much rather created my own backgrounds, soo with the time constraint I shoved some nice pics into flash and traced the bitmap. Believe me ...a huge cop out. :) I see what you mean about the legs. Next time i'll pay more attention. Those motions are always the true focus of animation anyways. Thanks again for your help.

hmm

It was okay, it's just your sound really got to me after a while - popping, etc. I was glad you put in the subtitles.
Good stuff: 'I am the Great Voldemort!' :D:D And the perfect Harry Potter film made me laugh.
Bad: Sound, like I said. And your drawing was a bit half-assed at times.
Overall, it was alright.
Lots of love,
Me

RogerregoRRoger responds:

well, glad it entertained you a bit at least ^^;

even better!

It's hypnotic. I'm glad you broke the movie in two though, 10,000 frames is a lot to handle.

Ohls responds:

hehe =)I too am glad that i did this, as after 3000 frames, I had to make all the drawings in a different file couse my RAM couldnt handle it!

whoa

that must have taken AGES. It reminds me of when I did graphics at school, perspectives and angles and stuff. Good stuff man.

Ohls responds:

took about 2 months =P but thats like, 1-2 hours a day or less, the menu took like 1/3rd of the time, all the masking and stuff.

boop boop boop beep boop

Why do I keep thinking Thundercats? Oh well, anywoo, this was fun. I'm not a fan of the technotechno, but it juxtaposed well with those cute blobby dudes.
boop beep beep boop?

FarFromSubtle responds:

You remind me of a friend I have that keeps doing impressions of them "Boop beep? Boop boob beep boop!" *shakes head*

Make sure to check out the first episode! Or the rest of this one at littlebuzzers.com, if you'd like. ^_^

hmm

Well made flash. I like your use of textures and stuff. Problem is, I found this hard to take seriously cos of the south park style. I was half expecting the guy to throw up on her at the end :P
Plus I laughed when the guy thought 'Will I die here?' He got, like, tapped in the face once. Like I said, hard to take seriously. I liked your flash, but not in the right way...sorry.

OurGuardian responds:

Yes, I decided not to let him throw up. Popped in my mind too, but neh, I've already taken the graphics of south park so it would be a bit corny. :P

yay, transformation

The car/spaceship bit was great. One thing puzzles me; where was the sunrise(set) you talked about in the preloader? Did you drop it? Or have I blinked and missed it?
Whatever, that was a great series. Do an 'Over There 2'! Is that too much to ask?

Dustball responds:

It was the opening shot of segment 1. (In case you missed it, this entire movie is actually in 5 segments, be sure to watch them all!)

dum dum

Those little robot spider dudes reminded me of some monsters on the recent doctor who :P. I know you were setting the scene and everything, post apocolyptic world etc, but just a little more action before the end would really have lent the 'to be continued' more impetus.
Also, if it was ORIGINALLY done in flash, why didn't you just send the swf file? There was a lot of detail that you couldn't appreciate as much cos of the fuzzy quality.
Still, some wicked smart skills you got there. Hurry up with part deux

RonaldRaven responds:

yeah, we had originally scripted and storyboarded a rather large action scene, but we literally ran out of time and couldn't do it since we had project deadlines to worry about. Our future work will be deadline free, so hopefully we won't have cop out endings like this. Glad you liked it, though.

bullullullullu

oh my god oh my god oh my god, you had a character called Smythe and my second name is Smythe oh my god oh my god I love you

Brand-new-hero responds:

for the masses lol. And those called smythe! Rock on you guys. J

ouch

for 16 you're a damn good drawer. Actually, you're a damn good drawer for ANY age. All I'd say is give it some music! Or at least some kind of sound effect. Perhaps the guy panting heavily would work. I like that Gorillaz track though :)
Hurry up with the full thang!

Lt-Mariachi responds:

thanks. just turn up your volume there is sound it just kinda quiet.
