yay, transformation

The car/spaceship bit was great. One thing puzzles me; where was the sunrise(set) you talked about in the preloader? Did you drop it? Or have I blinked and missed it?
Whatever, that was a great series. Do an 'Over There 2'! Is that too much to ask?

Dustball responds:

It was the opening shot of segment 1. (In case you missed it, this entire movie is actually in 5 segments, be sure to watch them all!)

ohwow

That was much better than I thought it would be. The only way I can describe it was...natural. The dialogue fitted, none of your lines were forced or cliched like you tend to get with work like this. The voice acting was great. The character movement was spot on.
I can't fault this. At all. Bring on episode 2!

heh

The graphics were pretty ba-ad, but it was funny and wise. And true. And that's what matters.

wooargh

You jokes are so bad :D Animation = great. Sound = great. Humour = cheez. I like it!

hello

that was good! You lost marks cos of picture/sound quality, but I could still see that it was a solid piece of work. Very good animation, specially when the car went over the cliff, and the character movement.
4/5

*boom*

Hey, that was good. I really liked the way you animated the aliens. And the upside down view of earth was pretty clever too. And the effects at the end...what can I say? Just...indescribable...

haha

I think the only jerk here is Tom Cruise. Jeez man, take a joke. It was a shame you couldn't get the sound file without all that crowd background noise. I think maybe you should've voiced it yourself. His voice isn't hard to replicate when it's just three words.
Great graphics though.

dum dum

Those little robot spider dudes reminded me of some monsters on the recent doctor who :P. I know you were setting the scene and everything, post apocolyptic world etc, but just a little more action before the end would really have lent the 'to be continued' more impetus.
Also, if it was ORIGINALLY done in flash, why didn't you just send the swf file? There was a lot of detail that you couldn't appreciate as much cos of the fuzzy quality.
Still, some wicked smart skills you got there. Hurry up with part deux

RonaldRaven responds:

yeah, we had originally scripted and storyboarded a rather large action scene, but we literally ran out of time and couldn't do it since we had project deadlines to worry about. Our future work will be deadline free, so hopefully we won't have cop out endings like this. Glad you liked it, though.

oh my god oh my god oh my god, you had a character called Smythe and my second name is Smythe oh my god oh my god I love you

Brand-new-hero responds:

for the masses lol. And those called smythe! Rock on you guys. J

niiiice

That was almost great. But you should've had it MUCH longer. And different camera angles! I loved the banana sword though. Must have taken a while to get that looking right.
Do another. Make it longer. Put more 'cartoon' weaponry in. Oh, and work on your acting a bit. And then you'll get full marks off me.
Also...beware of mirrors.
